American Tutor, Inc. is an approved Supplemental Educational Services provider in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington DC. We are recognized by many parents, teachers and school districts as the premier SES provider. Thousands of students have successfully completed our after school tutoring sessions and have consistently shown improvement in test scores and classroom performance.

Private Tutoring

American Tutor offers private one-on-one tutoring in all grades and subjects. Our tutors have helped thousands of students raise their grades and test scores and build self-confidence to reach their full potential.

Professional Development

American Tutor offers a wide variety of top quality seminars and services that are tailored to meet the specific needs of school districts. Our professional staff members are nationally recognized, experienced school administrators, deans and associate deans of schools of education and professors at graduate schools of arts and sciences. Each have expertise in different areas and individually or collectively, they are able to bring fresh ideas to a school and or district. Our team has proficiency in curriculum development, teacher training, instruction, evaluation, special education implementation and review, and the effective utilization of technology to both extend and enrich learning.

Adjudicated Youth Services

American Tutor provides services to youth who have been placed in the custody of the State or placed on probation by the courts. Our programs are designed to provide the skills necessary to return to school or the work place by emphasizing accountability and programming that afford young people the opportunity to become independent, productive and law abiding citizens. We also provide math and reading programs focused toward the attainment of a high school diploma, GED or college credit.

Out-of-School Instruction

American Tutor provides small group and one-on-one instruction for students who are out of school due to a temporary or chronic health condition.
